The Sanskrit term kama muta is best described as "the feeling of being moved by love." It's often something we experience when we feel connected with others, like when the power of a crowd overwhelms us with emotion. At this centuries old Greek festival, cans of paint are passed around as everyone puts their unique touch on transforming their bodies before playfully embarking in a flour war. It's both a form of self expression and a celebration of togetherness; we are unique, we are the same. Each layer of paint removes a barrier, freeing everyone from their physical selves, allowing them to come closer together. A shared space, a shared medium, yet not one canvas is the same.
